One of the most important Renaissance villas in the Veneto: Villa Ca' Vendri was commissioned by the Giusti family in the 16th century to the well-known architect Michele Sanmicheli.

The small church of the Villa, located at the extreme north of the park, is dedicated to S. Nicolò di Tolentino. It dates back to an era prior to the construction of the villa and was adapted to the new organization of the garden at the time and in the style of Sanmicheli.
